I am Chenyi Zi (资琛义), a Ph.D. student at HKUST(GZ), advised by Prof. Jia Li. My research spans Physical AI, agent reasoning, graph representation learning, and graph prompt learning. Before graduate school, I received my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the South China University of Technology, advised by Prof. Shengfeng He.

We released R3-Bench, a benchmark for resource-rational reasoning under shared budgets.
Our work on learning interaction priors for protein-protein interaction prediction was accepted by ICML 2026.
Our paper ChannelMTS was accepted by KDD 2026.
We released NPG-Muse for scaling long chain-of-thought reasoning with NP-hard graph problems.

Our ProG graph prompt learning benchmark was released with an open-source library.

Founded and operated a mathematics competition training studio, leading curriculum design and intensive problem-solving instruction. Coached more than ten students to gold medals in the Hua Luogeng Cup, with an emphasis on mathematical thinking, proof, and long-term learning habits.
